We are a parent-carer led organisation so we are run by a group of volunteers who all have children or young people with additional needs and disabilities. We ensure that you have a voice in shaping services for children with additional needs.
The forum focuses on improving services by influencing commissioners and decision makers, based on the view that disabled children and their parents best understand what they need from the services in their area.
We always welcome new members!
Any parents or carers of a child or young person under 25 with a disability or additional need, living or accessing services in Nottinghamshire can join.
When you become a member, we’ll send you regular newsletters, https://nottspcf.org/news/ offers and information about events and in addition you will receive a Max card. This offers free or discounted access to a range of attractions across the UK. Find out more about the Max card here www.mymaxcard.co.uk/

The Notts PCF Steering Group is made up of group of volunteer members who are responsible for the management of the forum and represent Nottinghamshire parent carers at specific meetings, informing decision makers of the views of the forum, and making sure that parent carers’ views are fed into decisions about children’s services at a strategic level.
