Ask Us Nottinghamshire (the information, advice and support service) offers impartial and confidential information, support and advice to children and young people, and their parents and carers, to enable them to make informed decisions about matters around education, health and care relating to their special educational needs and/or disability.

Parents, carer and professionals can contact the Information Service at the Children’s Development Centre (CDC) at Nottingham City Hospital for information and a library service. It can provide information on the many aspects of caring for a child with disability and details of local services and support.
Books and DVDs are available for loan and the online library catalogue is available at cdclibrary.nhslibraries.com
You can view a map of the hospital campus and the Children’s Development Centre is located in the top left of the map.
The service is now staffed by volunteers and is open Wednesday-Thursday 10am-1pm and Friday 11am-4pm.
